APPROACH

Strategic Energy Management Plan

To achieve significant, long-term energy and operating cost reductions, leading industrial companies adopt a strategic approach to energy management. CB&I’s nationally recognized experts in Strategic Energy Management (SEM) help facilities implement business planning and operational practices that establish effective energy management as standard operating procedure. Our SEM Services and SEMPs will:

  • Establish or document management commitment
  • Analyze energy consumption, cost and energy savings opportunities
  • Document facility energy and cost reduction targets
  • Track potential and completed projects in a multi-year project implementation plan
  • Provide tools to the customer to measure actual normalized energy savings.
Targeted Energy Efficiency Measures:

Retrofit and retro-commissioning of process and manufacturing systems, including industrial furnaces, boilers, gas compressors, gas and steam turbines, pumps, fans, motors, compressed air, laboratory and commercial HVAC systems, process controls, and lighting. Any deemed measures from PG&E’s current business rebates catalogs are also eligible.
